At a career fair I attended a few days ago, someone said, “Inside every one of you is a million dollar idea. The trouble is to generate thoughts into words.” It’s true. I’m not claiming that I have any million-dollar ideas in my head, but I do have many random thoughts that I dismiss so often it becomes a habit. For that, I admire people who are able to pen down their thoughts so flawlessly, where words flow as easily as the stream.
Today, a phrase came to mind. “Everything needs practice.” Geniuses aside, we don’t wake up one day and be the person we are today. Those blog-writers probably start of stumbling with their words, spending hours selecting the proper word that describes exactly how they want it to be. Those smartasses like my flatmate didn’t get first in class just by sitting around doing nothing. We reinvent ourselves, day by day.
…
I decide to blog more about my thoughts instead of brushing them off. To mark my 200th post, this will be the start of my No Words Left Unspoken project, where I embark on a journey inked random thoughts, memorable quotes and honest opinions. Some posts may be shorter than usual. I have also publicised my twitter (link on the sidebar) to express my random thoughts in 140 characters or less.
