The oldest, smallest house you can imagine
is about to be knocked down.

All the things that once made the house nise and cosy
had been thrown outside and piled up in the front garden
from the soft springy bed, to the old wooden floorboards…
and even, surely by some mistake, a ltitle brown teddy bear..

he was trapped amongst all the other unwanted things, and he couldn’t move
then one day, a very, very cold day, something fell from the sky,
… a small snowflake.
it landed on the teddy bear’s nose and then followed by many more..

the little bear was now so cold that his nose started turning blue…
…so cold that his brown fur started turning grey.

He was cold, unloved and all alone in the world, and he felt very, very, sad.

winter finally passed and the weather got warmer

Then, one beautiful spring day,
a ltitle girl was playing near the old house
when she spotted the grey bear in a pile of unwanted things.

he was like no other bear she had ever seen…
and she pulled him out of the rubbish that trapped him
she dusted him and lifted him high in the sky to look at him.

“A grey bear… with a blue nose?” she thought. “How strange!”
The teddy bear wanted to cry.
He thought she didn’t like him and
would throw him back with all the unwanted things
But she didn’t.

“he’s lovely!” she continued and she fell completely in love with him.

She ran home as fast as her little legs could carry her
to see if her grandma could patch him up
as a lot of as his stuffing had fallen out
and he was very much in need of repair

she looked on as her grandma replaced his stuffing
and patched up his holes

His stitches had started showing where the fur had worn away,
but the little girl thought he looked perfect.

it was all cosy and warm in the little girl’s house
and the bear now felt cosy and warm in his heart

However his nose was still blue and his fur was still grey
and they would never return to brown,
but he was unique amongst teddy bears

The little girl gave him a great big hug
and placed a kiss on his blue nose and whispered,

“From Me to You”

She loved him more than anything else in the world
her little, grey, blue-nosed,ย tatty teddy.

It’s a beautiful strory, although of course a fairy tale … Nevertheless thanks for posting that, it made me feel somehow better, while recently all in my life’s been making me convinced qualities like love, friendship, kindness don’t exist, even not in myself…
Not to make it 2 long or pathetic … it was nice to read it and come across your blog ๐Ÿ™‚

    all the best

I like the blog I have come accross it a few times before, certainly a inspiration. Actually have a piano question what do you think of the NP-11? Do you think you could transition to a piano with it? Do you play piano as well as keyboard, I am trying to work out if NP11 is okay or if piano style weighting and keys are needed

    Hello, Jill ๐Ÿ™‚
I am just a ordinary person like you from Korea who is searching for “a certain song title” for more than 2 hours over 1 a.m.
I have completely no idea of Chinese. I know chinese character but not in Chinese way, you know what I mean maybe.
It’s complicated how I got to this video (, but I can tell I know and like some of Wang Lee Hom’s songs. Can’t understand lyrics but like melody.
Anyways, from 40 sec to 55 sec in the video, do you know what title of the song is?
As I told you, I don’t know Chinese and Wang Lee Hom is not that popular where I live, so I can hardly get a clue to grab the title.
The last source I try was googling, and I found your blog. Interestingly, the fact that you are a fan of Wang Lee Hom and Il Divo attracts me and encourages me to leave this message to you. I am also a huge fan of Il Divo, and I’m thinking to learn Chinese because of Wang Lee Hom. ๐Ÿ˜€
Thank you for reading all my lousy writing.
    Hope I receive your reply.
